AcariaHealth and its family of pharmacies have received the following accreditations:
TJC
AcariaHealth and Specialty Therapeutic Care received The Gold Seal of Approval from The Joint Commission (TJC) for home care services. Home care organizations include those that provide home health services, personal care and support services, home infusion (intravenous or IV Therapy) and other pharmacy services, durable medical equipment services and hospice services.
URAC
AcariaHealth, Specialty Therapeutic Care and Foundation Care are URAC accredited for specialty pharmacy. URAC is a Washington DC-based healthcare accrediting organization that helps promote health care quality through the accreditation of organizations involved in medical care services, as well as by offering education and measurement programs.
VAWD
AcariaHealth and Foundation Care wholesale facilities are Verified-Accredited Wholesale Distributors (VAWD) accredited. The VAWD program was established in 2004 to help protect the public from the threat of counterfeit drugs. The VAWD program was developed and is administered by the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP).
VIPPS
AcariaHealth, Specialty Therapeutic Care, Homescripts and Foundation Care are Verified Internet Pharmacy Practice Sites® (VIPPS) accredited. Our patient portals, MyAcaria and MyHomescripts, are also accredited. VIPPS recognizes pharmacy websites that are in compliance with US pharmacy laws and practice standards. VIPPS was developed through the NABP.
ACHC
AcariaHealth is accredited by Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) for compliance with a comprehensive set of national standards.
